I've been acting since childhood, growing up watching my dad tread the boards at various theatres in the north west left a lasting impression and inspiration. A grounding in Youth Theatre paved the way for my professional debut at the age of 19 in the Midlands Art Centre production of Days of Hope in 2008 - while a student of the University of Birmingham. Some of the biggest influences on me as an actor are Christopher Eccleston, Jeremy Irons, Alan Rickman, Marlon Brando, Michael Biehn and my father, Cliff Howells.
